How we price

Four numbers. One quote.

Procurement teams ask "what am I actually paying for?" Here's the breakdown that's behind every C5 Safety quote.

Component 01

Edge appliance

A pre-configured server (mini-tower or 1U rackmount) sized to your camera count. Sits on your camera VLAN and runs all detection locally. Yours to keep, included in the contract value.

Component 02

Software subscription

Annual license for the C5 Safety platform — all detection categories, dashboard, reports, integrations. Includes ongoing model updates, security patches, and feature releases for 12 months.

Component 03

On-site deployment

One-day visit by a C5 Safety engineer: appliance install, network configuration, NVR/camera scan, zone definition, escalation rules, admin training. Site goes live before the engineer leaves.

Component 04

First-year support

Email + phone support during business hours, with quarterly customer success check-ins. Enterprise upgrades to 24/7 named SLA. Year-2 renewal at the same shape, no surprise re-deployment fee.

No surprise line items.

If a feature is in the product catalogue, it's in your contract. No "Pro" features locked behind paywalls. No per-detection charges. No bandwidth metering.

How C5 Safety compares

Pick on deployment model, not price spreadsheet.

The workplace-safety AI market today splits into two patterns: cloud-first platforms that process your camera frames in their data center, and edge-appliance vendors that install a small box at your site and sync data to their cloud. C5 takes a third position — runs on-site, on hardware we ship, with no cloud dependency and no per-feature paywalls.

Who C5 Safety is built for

Two industries we serve first — well.

We've intentionally focused on construction and oil & gas in the GCC region. The product is engineered for those buyers' deployment constraints, regulatory environment, and procurement reality.

Construction

Large GCs, multi-project contractors, site safety leads on active jobsites. Fast-changing camera layouts. Sub-contractor PPE compliance is the headline use case. See construction page →

Oil & Gas

Refineries, upstream sites, petrochemical plants. Restricted-zone enforcement, no-smoking compliance, lone-worker monitoring, and the strictest air-gap and data-sovereignty requirements. See oil & gas page →

If you're in manufacturing, warehousing, or another industrial vertical, talk to us — the product works there too. We just don't lead with it because we'd rather be excellent in two markets than mediocre in eight.

Pricing FAQ

The questions procurement asks first.

How much does C5 Safety actually cost? +
C5 Safety deployments start in the low five figures per site, fully bundled. Enterprise multi-site engagements are custom-quoted based on site count, camera distribution, and support level. Book a demo and we'll quote your specific deployment within 48 hours of the call.
What's included in the Site bundle? +
Pre-configured edge appliance, one-day on-site deployment with NVR integration and zone configuration, all 9 detection categories, browser dashboard, snapshot + video clip evidence, PDF/CSV reports, webhook + REST integrations, 12 months of software, model updates, and email + phone business-hours support.
Site vs Enterprise — how do I know which is right? +
Site is for one plant, one yard, one project — up to 32 cameras on a single appliance. Enterprise is for multi-site operators (GCs running multiple jobsites, oil majors with several terminals, manufacturers with multiple plants), and adds central rollup dashboard, dedicated CSM, named SLA, SSO, and custom EHS integrations.
Is the appliance bundled or do I bring my own hardware? +
Bundled. We ship a pre-configured appliance sized to your camera count. We handle imaging, license keys, and pre-delivery configuration. The appliance is yours; the contract value covers it.
Annual subscription or perpetual license? +
Annual subscription, billed yearly. Includes software, model updates, security patches, and support. The license deactivates if subscription is not renewed. Year-2 renewal is at the same shape — no re-deployment fee, no hardware refresh charge.
Is there a free trial or pilot? +
Yes — a 30-day on-site pilot for qualified Construction and Oil & Gas customers. Includes one appliance, one site, full deployment, and full support. Pilot fee credits toward the paid contract on conversion.
How do you compare to other workplace safety AI platforms? +
Different deployment model. The market today is mostly cloud-first or hybrid; we run on-site, on hardware we ship, with camera frames staying on the customer network. Most vendors charge per-module; we include all detections in every tier. Most are US/EU-led; we're GCC-led with on-site regional support. Pick on deployment model and data sovereignty fit, not on a price spreadsheet — the underlying products solve different shapes of buyer problem.
What if my site has more than 32 cameras? +
Two options: (1) deploy a higher-spec appliance (NVIDIA RTX A4000 or A5000) handling up to ~80 cameras, or (2) split detection across two appliances on the same site. Both fall in the Enterprise tier. We size the right configuration during the demo.
Are deployment costs really included, or is that a separate line? +
Included in the bundled price. Travel within the GCC is included. Travel outside GCC is quoted per engagement. Re-deployments (e.g. moving the appliance to a new site) are quoted separately if requested.
What happens at year-2 renewal? +
Year-2 is the software subscription only — you already have the appliance and the deployment. Renewal pricing is roughly 35–45% of year-1 contract value. No re-deployment fee unless you want one.
